What's on my Easel March 2022

Hello Friends,
Wow, we are half way through March and our whole world has changed. In some ways for the good and in others well …
Lockdowns due to COVID 19 are quickly becoming a thing of the past : ) , and the world stands at the precipice of a potential world war :( .... - it just all seems so surreal.
If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to escape to, I have just the thing:
Check out the Okotoks Public Library, it has some beautiful new paintings on display, one of them is of the Okotoks Erratic I was working on in the new year. It was designed to represent not only the boulder's origin, but also our town and community spirit. It's called “Okotoks Erratic - The Meeting place”.
When I first conceived the idea, I thought painting the big rock would be relatively painless, but that certainly wasn’t the case. At one point I thought perhaps I bit off more than I could chew, but little, by little, it all started to come together, much the same way our community has over the past few years.
If you’re in Okotoks, check it out!
And, if you like what you see, and want to stay informed about upcoming events and, or new paintings,
